It's easy to feel a bit isolated as we go through these difficult times but there are some things we can do right in our own home and community to keep ourselves healthy (and sane!) and even to support our friends who own small businesses. Of course, we all need to strictly follow current CDC guidelines and exercise social distancing practices at this time. If you or a member of your household is experiencing any flu-like symptoms please avoid all social settings.
1. Support Local Restaurants
Many of our local restaurants and shop are offering takeout, curbside pickup, and delivery options. There are still risks involved in curbside, takout and delivery services, but mitigate these risks by paying for your order online and practicing other guidelines such as hand washing and disinfecting. 2. Shop Local Online
Continue shopping online with our local retailers: While many retailers have closed their physical storefronts, many are still operating through their online channels. Please visit the page: Local shops offering online shopping for a complete list.
Please follow CDC guidelines and exercise social distancing practices (6' minimum distance from others) while in any public setting, and refrain from visiting public settings if you or a member of your household is experiencing any flu-like symptoms.
3. Stay Active (Safely)
Get outside to breathe some fresh air and exercise. Enjoy the Windsor Castle Park Trail, the completed portion of the Park to Park Trail, or Windsor’s Rt. 258 Trail. While events have been cancelled or postponed, the trails still offer a place of respite.
