Gear up for the weekend at the “Daniels Performance Group Cruise-In Car Show.” Afterwards, relax with an evening of great music by the "Code Blue Bluegrass Band" at the monthly Firehouse Blues Concert.
Start your morning off with a Salted Fried Herring Fish Breakfast at the VFW - but don’t eat too much because you will want to run (or walk) in the 13th Annual 5K Hog Jog. Rest up afterwards with a stroll through the “Toys for Tots and Smithfield Ruritan Club’s 13th annual Car, Truck and Bike Show” and our ever-popular Farmers Market. The home-made soup, bread and desserts at Souper Saturday will make a great lunch. After lunch, be sure to check out “The Ann Cowper Acts" - a Court Days drama being presented at the 1750 Courthouse. Then head to the 3rd Annual Smithfield Country-Que held at Windsor Castle Park for some great music and BBQ. And why not treat yourself to a dessert at one of our great restaurants in town to finish your day?
What better way to end the weekend with a wonderful “Sunday’s at Four” Recital for Tenor and Piano at Christ Episcopal Church.
