Offering a quaint café, outdoor patio and beanery, and a commitment to serve the freshest ingredients and hand-selected seasonal produce, the Bakery’s breads are homemade from their own recipes and baked fresh daily. They also create their own dressings, sauces, soups, meats and desserts in-house and their silverdollar biscuits are famous, especially when enjoyed with some authentic country ham. Enjoy a delicious meal with a glass of Virginia wine or craft beer.
Outdoor seating is available on the picturesque Hayden’s Lane or take a front row seat to people-watch at their cafe tables on Main Street. Moderately priced.
The third floor of the Bakery, fully restored with original windows, pine floors, and exposed brick walls, is available for meetings and catered events.
