The Mike Aiken Band will perform one show Saturday Sept. 21 at Smithfield Little Theatre.
Joining Mike and Amy will be a couple of regional all stars. On guitar will be Ron Fetner who delights crowds on his own all over the mid Atlantic area and then Bill Gurley joins the band bringing his master skill on mandolin, fiddle and guitar. Both Ron and Bill have decades of music to draw from but this night they'll bring the Aiken original music in a way that is sure to be a night to remember. Filling the band will be the bass work of Jorday Ponzi.
Mike and Amy are just getting back to the states from doing a tour as a duo in France for the last several weeks and it's said that Amy will finally be able to speak English between songs.
Please join us for the experience of great live music in a comfortable theater setting.
Tickets are $20 and available by calling 757-880-3120, or The Arts Center, 319 Main St., Smithfield or at The Christmas Store, 108 Main St., Smithfield. Tickets should also be available at the door the night of the show. Theater will open at 6:45 and seating open at 7:00.
Proceeds from this show will be used to benefit youth music education in Isle of Wight County. Smithfield Music and Smithfield Little Theatre are co sponsoring this show.
