Suitable for beginners and young adults. Students will work on a practice piece, then select a metal focal component and use antiquing paints, stains, and fixatives embellishing the piece with color. Students will explore different application techniques, stain/paint combinations, and the use of UV light to fix the colors.
This class will focus on using the proper tools, where to obtain components. Suitable for young bead enthusiasts and a great project for home schooled students. Inquire about group rates and private classes. Student Age Level: 10 years through adult.
Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult. Class Fee: $40 (Non-members will pay an additional $10.00 per class) plus Materials Fee: $20 All materials and tools will be purchased and provided by the instructor.
The costs for obtaining the materials will be listed as a separate fee and paid 1 week prior to class.
