Historic House Portrait Sessions
Come visit the Nelms House, a town historic landmark, for indoor and garden photography in June, during Smithfield’s Summertime Celebration, and through September. Have fun exploring the rooms to take photography in this Victorian and Art Deco designed venue. Take photos in a native plant garden designed for environmental management and wildlife habitat. If interested in participating in a Nelms House Photo Exhibit, ask about guidelines. While photographing, enjoy High Tea/Coffee Refreshments ($5/person). If professional photographers visit the venue during Fri and Sat noon to 5 p.m. when discounts are available for photo sessions booked in 2019. During the visit, just sign the Photographer Registry to receive your 2019 discount! Special Portrait Session Offer!
