Victorian holiday gnomes, Victorian Batting Ornaments and Victorian Tussie Mussie Ornaments filled with herbs and potpourri are featured workshops in December & January. All are made from vintage and upcycled fabric supplies that are provided for In person direction or kits with phone/video messaging directions are available. Book now! $20/person.
Fridays and Saturdays in December and January, noon to 5 p.m. All upcycle supplies provided and safety measures as you have in the past. Reservation are requested using email (awhgarland@yahoo.com) or Facebook messenger at @nelmshouse.

Historic House Portrait Sessions
Come visit the Nelms House, a town historic landmark, for indoor and garden photography in June, during Smithfield’s Summertime Celebration, and through September. Have fun exploring the rooms to take photography in this Victorian and Art Deco designed venue. Take photos in a native plant garden designed for environmental management and wildlife habitat. If interested in participating in a Nelms House Photo Exhibit, ask about guidelines. While photographing, enjoy High Tea/Coffee Refreshments ($5/person).
If professional photographers visit the venue during Fri and Sat noon to 5 p.m. when discounts are available for photo sessions booked in 2019. During the visit, just sign the Photographer Registry to receive your 2019 discount!

You can book portrait sessions in advance at the Nelms House and other historic district shops with Heather Hughes Photography offering family, engagement, senior and portrait sessions for visitors starting at $250.
