Smithfield Rotary and Smithfield Ruritan Clubs will host the Smithfield 2022 Citizen of the Year Award dinner March 1 at 6:00 p.m. at the Smithfield Center.

Our honoree is Steve W. Edwards. Steve Edwards, Isle of Wight Deputy Commonwealth

Attorney and volunteer Executive Director of Gwaltney Frontier Farm which administers Mill Swamp Indian Horses.

The Smithfield Rotary and Ruritan clubs have been hosting the annual award dinner since 1970. All past recipients will be honored as well.

Tickets to our event are $50. They are available for purchase at at Hamtown Mercantile on Main Street and at Ringos Donuts on South Church Street.
