September is Chicken Month, so this is the perfect time to talk about the history of chickens and chicken keeping. Breeder and Isle of Wight County Fair Livestock Chairman Yvonne Munson, along with a few special guest stars, will discuss Nankins, one of the oldest known true bantam chickens. With a calm disposition and likable personality, these chickens have a long history. If you miss this lecture, the yolk’s on you!
